Our Services
Brown’s Auto Salvage MA brings our 30+ years of experience in Vermont to southern New England. Combining our VT inventory and standards with two of the most successful salvage yard managers in the country provides our customers with unparalleled service and selection. We stock parts from all makes and models including Acura, Jeep, GMC and Subaru. All parts, from ECU’s to transfer cases come with our standard 90 day 100% money back guarantee. We do our best to ensure our customers get high quality used auto parts by ensuring that all parts are OEM pieces and by taking the time to thoroughly cleaning mechanical and body parts like used transmissions, car doors, and rear end assemblies.
“On time, as described”
Our philosophy on how to provide the best experience to customers searching for car parts can be summed up as “on time, as described.” This means that our goal is to recognize the various aspects that make used auto parts more or less valuable to our customers and accurately convey that information. Used motors and transmissions for instance, have many variables such as mileage and age. This will all be accurately described to our customers so we are able to agree on a delivery date and price that works for everyone. And speaking of delivery date, we at Brown’s know that the “on time” part of our mantra is just as important as price to our customers. We ensure that customers know our delivery method and expected arrival date before placing their orders. We won’t make promises we can’t keep because we know that losing one sale because we tell a customer a part takes three days to get is much better than losing a customer for life.

Our Story
Brown’s Auto Salvage MA represents the culmination of years of hard work between some of the leading figures in the auto recycling industry. The story of how our second location came into being revolves around Mark Brown and John “JC” Cahil.
Mark and JC knew each other through JC’s father, who owns a salvage yard that regularly does business with the Vermont store. When he was in his teens, JC drove a delivery truck for another yard, Jerry Brown’s Auto Parts that delivered to Brown’s VT almost every day. After knowing each other for years when he was young, JC left the area after graduating from the University of Vermont.
They kept in touch as both excelled in the auto recycling business. Mark’s store in Vermont had slow but continuous growth and a reputation for providing high quality parts with unsurpassed customer service. Brown’s Auto Salvage was even called “one of the five nicest yards in the country” by Bill Stevens of Counts Consulting, one of the nation’s leading auto recycling experts. The bulk of JC’s career has been managing salvage yards for two of the largest auto recycling consolidation companies in the country, both LKQ and Greenleaf/Pick N Pull . Before coming to Brown’s MA, JC was the regional manager for B&R Auto Wrecking in Washington State. There he oversaw the operation of two full service and one self service recycling facility. Over the years, JC always prodded Mark to enter a partnership on a new salvage yard together, but they were always reluctant.
With Brown’s VT experiencing tremendous growth and success, it seemed like fate when JC and Mark’s son, Matt appeared back to back in the same issue of Locator Up Front magazine; JC for winning Boss of the Year, and Matt for creating the Vermont Auto Recyclers Association. A few months after that issue came out, Mark and JC were ready to commit to their plan.
By expanding to a new location we are able to double our selection of parts and take the first step towards building a next day delivery auto parts network over all of New England and New York.
